Christmas with the estrangeiros.

Christmas day at the Shea's house eating lasagna, rice, beans, chicken, and salad at the table with the Mexicans. Fabian, Tere, and their children Fabian Isaias and Fabiola. A strange day with no snow and 30+ degree weather. But we're pulling through and loving the people here. We miss you guys and love you all. Michael Posted by Picasa

The Beautiful Nilda

Here is our Friend Nilda. She has been such a lovely friend to us here. Michael knew her from before and she is so glad to have him back, and she has welcomed his new wife warmly.
We have been able to spend time with her this past week, staying at her house, eating with her and she is helping us learn portuguese.
Jenny, she is one of those people that are just plain BEAUTIFUL. Posted by Picasa

Horseback riding again!

As part of celebrating our anniversary we got to go horseback riding again! Such a beautiful setting. We went with Rodolfo, a friend from Rolandia. Posted by Picasa

Our Anniversary

Our Lovely friend Nilda payed for us to stay at a nice hotel for our anniversary. We got to watch the sunset from our balcony - we didn't even have a balcony on our honeymoon! Posted by Picasa

It was REALLY windy...

I think this is a eucaliptus tree - they smell sooo good! Posted by Picasa

Hangin' Out

Michael and I went for a fun walk on Christmas eve. Notice the lime-ish fruit in the tree above us. It is such a fruitful country.
Merry Christmas everyone! Posted by Picasa
